Delete your account

Last updated 27 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in the MyKaamSathi app (com.kaamsathi.app, published by Sachin Rao), what is removed when you do, and what we keep. You do not need an account to read this page.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

  • Open MyKaamSathi and sign in.
  • Go to the Profile tab (the last tab on the bottom bar).
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete my account”.
  • Confirm. You are signed out on every device straight away.

If you no longer have the app

Email itsandeepverma@gmail.com from any address, with the subject “Delete my account”, and tell us the mobile number you signed up with.

We will contact you on that number to confirm the request is really yours — we will never ask you for an OTP, a password or a payment. Once confirmed, we delete the account within 7 days, and in any case within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes, straight away:

  • your mobile number, name and profile photo;
  • your worker or employer profile — so you stop appearing in searches, job feeds and alerts entirely;
  • your location and the work radius you had set;
  • your identity verification details, including the last four digits of your Aadhaar;
  • your notification token, so the app can never notify that phone again;
  • every sign-in session, on every device;
  • and any job you had posted that nobody had taken, and any hire request nobody had answered — both are closed so the other side is not left waiting.

What we keep, and why

Some records are not solely yours, and erasing them would quietly rewrite someone else’s history. A rating you gave is part of another person’s average. An attendance and payment ledger is the record both sides rely on for work that actually happened. A dispute is evidence.

Those records stay, but they point at an emptied account: to anyone who worked with you, you appear only as “Deleted user”. Nothing personal remains on it, and it can never be signed into again.

One exception, deliberately: if an account was suspended for not paying a worker, we keep the one-way hashed identity so the suspension cannot be shed by signing up again with a new number. We never keep the Aadhaar number itself — only a hash that cannot be reversed.

Your mobile number is freed the moment the account is deleted. You are welcome to sign up again with it as a new account.
