Worker Terms

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the MyKaamSathi app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them — they explain what MyKaamSathi is, and just as importantly what it is not.

1. Who may use MyKaamSathi

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indian mobile number. Your phone number is your identity on MyKaamSathi: one number is one account, and an account registered as a worker or as an employer keeps that role.

2. Your account

You sign in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone. Keep your phone and OTP to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put on your profile: your name, the work you do, your wage and your location. A false or misleading profile may be removed.

3. What MyKaamSathi is — and is not

MyKaamSathi is an introduction service. We help workers and employers find each other. We are not the employer, we are not a labour contractor, and we are not a party to any work arrangement you make.

The wage, the working hours, the nature of the work, and the payment are agreed and settled directly between the worker and the employer. MyKaamSathi does not employ workers, does not guarantee that any job is real or that any worker will perform, and does not handle or hold anyone's wages.

4. How you must behave

When you use MyKaamSathi you agree to:

give honest information about yourself and the work you offer or seek;

turn up for work you have accepted, and pay for work that has been done, as agreed;

treat the other person with respect — harassment, threats and abusive language are not allowed;

not create fake profiles, impersonate anyone, or use the service to send spam;

not use MyKaamSathi for anything unlawful, or to arrange unlawful, unsafe or bonded work.

5. Ratings and reputation

After an engagement, both sides may rate each other. Ratings and reviews are the honest opinions of the people who leave them. A comment that contains abusive or banned language is held back until a moderator reviews it, and reviews that break these terms may be removed. Reports that someone did not turn up affect how prominently they appear, and fade over time.

6. Suspension and blocking

We may suspend or block an account that breaks these terms, abuses other users, or puts the safety of the service at risk. A blocked account cannot sign in. If you think this has happened in error, write to us.

7. No guarantee

MyKaamSathi is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and useful, but we do not promise that you will find work or workers, that a match will lead to a completed job, or that the service will always be available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, MyKaamSathi is not liable for any loss arising from a work arrangement made through the service, or from the acts of any worker or employer you meet through it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows. When we make an important change we will bring it to your attention. Continuing to use MyKaamSathi after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts of India.
