Employer Terms
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms apply to anyone who uses MyKaamSathi to find and hire workers. By posting a job, contacting a worker or sending a hire request, you accept them. If you hire in bulk as a thekedaar or contractor, the Contractor Terms apply to you as well.
1. What MyKaamSathi is, and is not
MyKaamSathi is a marketplace that introduces you to workers near you. That is the whole of the service.
- We are not the employer of any worker you find here, and we are not your agent or labour supplier.
- We do not pay wages, hold wages, or guarantee that any wage will be paid. When you record a payment in the app, you are writing down what changed hands — you are not instructing us to transfer anything.
- We do not verify that any worker is skilled, honest or suitable. A Verified badge means our staff matched a photo to an identity document. It is not a reference, a guarantee, or an endorsement.
- Once you and a worker agree to work, the agreement is between the two of you. Every duty an employer owes a worker under law is yours, not ours.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You must give a real mobile number that you control — the number is your identity here, and one number is one account and one role. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
3. Post honestly
When you post a job or send a hire request, the details must be true: the work, the place, the dates, the wage, how it is paid, and how many people you need. If something changes, tell the worker before they travel.
Do not post work that is not real, work you cannot pay for, or anything that is not a genuine job.
4. Wages
You set the wage, and you are responsible for it being lawful. Where a minimum wage applies to that work in that district, paying it is your obligation. If our rate card shows a warning that your wage is below the local floor, that warning is information — it does not make an unlawful wage lawful, and we do not approve wages by allowing a post through.
You agree to:
- pay the agreed wage in full, and on time;
- pay for work actually done even if you end the job early;
- not make deductions the worker did not agree to before starting.
5. How a worker's phone number reaches you
A worker's number is never shown in a search result or on a profile. It is released only when contact is deliberately requested, and we record that request.
When you receive it, you may use it for this hiring conversation only. You may not add it to a marketing list, sell or share it, pass it to another contractor, or use it to contact the worker about anything else. Doing so ends your account.
6. How to treat people
You agree that you will not:
- employ anyone under 18, or use bonded, forced or trafficked labour, in any form;
- withhold identity documents, wages or belongings to keep someone at work;
- discriminate on caste, religion, region, language, gender, disability or any similar ground;
- harass, threaten, abuse or sexually harass a worker, in the app or in person;
- send work instructions that put someone in danger without the safety equipment that work requires.
You are responsible for a safe workplace, for any accident that happens at it, and for any insurance or compensation the law requires.
7. Ratings, reviews and no-shows
Rate honestly, from work that actually happened. Do not rate to punish someone for refusing a job, for asking to be paid, or for raising a dispute. A comment containing abusive language is held for review and does not count until a moderator has seen it.
Report a no-show only when the worker genuinely did not come. A no-show affects a real person's ability to find work.
8. If a worker says you did not pay
A worker who was not paid can raise a payment dispute in the app.
- You have 72 hours to respond. Answering is not optional.
- If you do not answer in time, the dispute is recorded as a default automatically.
- Defaults add up. The first affects your reliability score, which employers-side trust signals and the worker's job feed both use. The second adds a visible "payment complaints" label and slows how quickly workers are invited to your jobs. The third — or a single unpaid amount over ₹10,000 — suspends your account from posting and records your identity so a suspension cannot be shed by signing up on a new number.
- Resolving a dispute decides the record. It does not move money. Paying the worker is still something you do yourself.
If you genuinely paid, respond and say so. That is what the 72 hours are for.
9. Cancelling
You may cancel a job or a hire request before a worker has committed. Repeatedly confirming workers and then cancelling wastes people's day, so if you close several short-staffed jobs in a short period, your later jobs reach fewer workers, more slowly. This is a slowdown, not a ban, and it clears on its own once you stop doing it.
10. Fees
Posting jobs and hiring as an individual employer is free. Paid Contractor plans are described in the Contractor Terms and the Refund Policy.
11. What we do not promise
We do not promise that you will find a worker, that anyone will accept, that anyone who accepts will arrive, or that the service will be available without interruption. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, quality of work, honesty or conduct of any worker you meet here, or for any loss, injury, theft or damage arising from work you arranged. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the three months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Suspending or ending an account
We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if you do not pay workers, if you misuse someone's phone number, or if we are required to by law. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app.
13. Changes
We may change these terms. When we publish an important change, the app asks you to read and accept it before you next post a job or hire someone.
14. Law and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
For a complaint, write to our grievance officer at itsandeepverma@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
